(Okay, an obvious choice perhaps, but I loves me the Toronto bands. Regardless of what people say, it's a great time to live in this city if you like this music...except for all the 'ironic' bands/fans/clothing/photographers...heh heh)

There are 14 songs in 18 minutes which, right off the bat, I fucken' love since I'm a 'Cut The Shit' kinda girl with a short attention span. I've been going to their shows since the beginning and have kinda enjoyed watching them get tighter/faster over that time span. So the songs are still funny, but I feel like the band's music is WAY more solid, which for me- makes it that much funnier. Where some of their previous releases were funny at the expense of the music, here the music could actually stand on it's own, even without Nick's funny shit. Some of these songs are super good...The Perfect Buffet and I Do Nothing are HOT- fast/loud/yummy-sketchy...We Have a Website is probably the funniest tune, and just tight enough/short enough to stay funny until the end. I wasn't a big fan of Bikini Diet ...it sounded more like their stuff off of The Pleasure is All Thine: kinda funny...but not so unique/interesting sound-wise and I found the lyrics irritating. Overall a pretty good record, and by far the best release yet from this band.
